Original writing

Everything on vnunet is written for vnunet. We do not republish articles from the previous vnunet.com or any other publication. Where we draw on reporting, we summarise in our own words and credit the source.

Sources and citations

Each explainer lists its sources. We prefer primary sources such as official announcements, legislation, standards documents and court records, followed by reputable reporting and reference works.

To keep pages focused, we link out only to a small set of long-standing reference and official sites, such as Wikipedia, government and EU sites, standards bodies and the original vendors. Other sources are credited by name, title and date without a link.

Accuracy and corrections

Each explainer shows when it was last reviewed. If you spot an error, contact us. We correct mistakes promptly and update the review date.

Independence

vnunet does not publish sponsored articles, paid links or affiliate recommendations.
